Take a Picture: Not a selfie, but a picture of your luggage! Everyone knows that you are supposed to attach a tag to your luggage in case the airline lose your luggage. But what most people forget is to take a picture of their luggage before checking it in. Having a picture of your luggage makes filling out a lost luggage report a lot easier. Instead of describing your luggage, you will actually have a recent picture of what your luggage looks like, which makes it way easier to locate it among the sea of luggage that airlines carry every day.

Shop Smart: Traveling to Disney World is a dream come true and a trip of a lifetime for many guests! That means that you will want to buy a few souvenirs to remember your trip by. However, buying souvenirs inside the theme parks can get pretty expensive. There are so many amazing gifts and souvenirs sold in the parks, but there are also plenty of local gift shops and even places like your local Orlando Walmart that sell souvenirs at lower prices. So, shop smarter and make a trip to a local gift shop on your first night in town. That way you get to have an idea of what prices are like and judge for yourself if the item you like in the theme park is worth the money or not.

Toys: The same idea goes for toys. The Disney merchandise is tempting even for adults, so you can imagine that your kids will definitely be tempted when they see all of the toys available at the Disney stores. Set a budget and try to shop for gifts beforehand. Having a brand-new Disney toy can help avoid a toy tantrum when you have to constantly say “no” to your child inside each Disney store you pass by. Take the new toy to the park with you and try to reason with your kids by reminding them that they just got a new Disney toy!

Free Transport: If you are staying with us at the Lake Buena Vista Resort Village & Spa, we do provide scheduled shuttle service to Walt Disney World Resort (Epcot Transportation Center), Sea World & Universal Studios.  The shuttle service is already included in the nominal resort fee, so there is no extra charge. And if you are thinking about going to Busch Gardens in Tampa, there is also a FREE way to get there! Mears offers round-trip transportation from many areas in Orlando for free as long as you already have a valid ticket for Busch Gardens. Just buy your ticket in advance and you should be all set. Please note that reservations are highly recommended, especially during high season.

Stay Comfortable: When booking a hotel, choose to stay in a suite: Suites, like the ones at the Lake Buena Vista Resort Village & Spa that offer a complete kitchen and separate living space. Trust us when we say that this will be the best investment you will make for your trip. That is because after a long day in the parks, all you will crave is the ability to go “home” and just have a relaxing night. So having the extra space will go a long way to help you avoid feeling cramped in a regular hotel room. Plus, if you feel like having a quick dinner after a long day of fun at the theme park, you can just head home and eat in the comfort of your suite.

We hope to host you soon at the Lake Buena Vista Resort Village & Spa for a magical Orlando vacation!
