Magic Kingdom is a favorite Disney park for many guests. That means that the park is usually pretty full regardless of season peaks. The new Disney After Hours ticket offers the opportunity for an exclusive visit to the park after all general admission guests have left.
We attended the event last night to give you the scoop and we were amazed with the value of this ticket, because you truly feel like you have the park to yourself. The park closed at 11pm last night and the event went from 11pm- 2am. During those 3 hours, only the guests that paid for the Extra Hours tickets were able to go in the rides and character meetings. That means that lines for rides were nonexistent. You just walked right up to it.

Character encounters had a very short line: Talking Mickey was 15 minutes, Cinderella and Rapunzel was 5 minutes and Anna and Elza was 10 minutes. You heard that right! Only 10 minutes to meet the Arendelle Queen, Elza, and her her spunky little sister, Anna. This meet and greet is one of the most sough-after events in the park during general admission hours, with lines reaching up to a four-hour wait. It’s brutal!

All of this exclusiveness comes at a higher price, but if you are looking for a one-of-a-kind VIP experience, you have found it here. The event doesn’t start until after the park closes, but you are able to enter the park as early as 7pm, so you do have lots of time to enjoy your trip to Magic Kingdom.

Plus, once the event starts they have FREE ice cream and sodas/water available all over the park. Seriously! Mickey bars, Mickey sandwiches, Mango cream, strawberry lemonade, banana-covered chocolate… all of them! As many as you want!
