Family Friendly New Year’s Eve in Orlando

It’s safe to say that if you are coming to Orlando, you plan on visiting at least one of our amazing theme parks! And the holiday season in Orlando sure doesn’t disappoint. So, if you are planning to spend New Year’s Eve with your family in Orlando, here are some of the events you should consider attending to help you bring the New Year with the right foot!

Walt Disney World Resort

Disney is a VERY popular destination for New Year’s Eve because of their amazing Fireworks display, so park admission can be a bit tricky on the 31st. The parks reach maximum occupancy, so you won’t be allowed in even if you already have a ticket. In order to avoid that, just make sure you arrive early at the park you will like to be at for the midnight event. Do NOT attempt to park hop and go from one park to the other at 9 p.m., because chances are you won’t be allowed in!  Magic Kingdom, Epcot and Hollywood Studios have special midnight fireworks and they are stunning, so plan ahead and have a magical night!

Universal Orlando Resort

Islands of Adventure and Universal Studios have special events for the 31st that include party zones featuring DJs, midnight fireworks and character appearances that make for fun picture opportunities and a souvenir from your trip. Admission to the theme parks on New Year’s Eve cost the same as the standard gate price.

New Year’s Eve at SeaWorld Orlando

Little kids always love the celebration at SeaWorld! They have an amazing musical celebration and beautiful fireworks display to please the whole family! And you still get to be close to your favorite sea creatures and ride thrilling roller coasters to bring in the new year!

The options are so many and so fun that we are not sure if we just made your decision easier or harder! Which park will you choose to spend New Year’s Eve at?
