There’s no better way to ring in the holiday season than with a trip to the “Most Magical Place on Earth.” A visit to sunny Orlando quickly turns into a winter wonderland once the doors open for Magic Kingdom’s Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party. Watch in wonder as Walt Disney World transforms itself into a snowy sight with character greetings, awe-inspiring shows, and wondrous parades. We’ve collected some of the best tips for visiting this festive scene and have them here for your enjoyment. Read on to learn how to make the most out of your Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party visit.

The holiday cheers will begin at 7:00 p.m., but ticket holders can enter as early as 4:00 p.m. We recommend taking advantage of the early entry so you have the opportunity to ride a few attractions and marvel as Queen Elsa makes her icy debut at Cinderella’s Castle at 6:15 p.m. Plus, the early arrival allows you to grab a bite to eat before the Party starts.

Complimentary cookies and cocoa are available for your pleasure (and warmth)! The lines can get a little lengthy for these delicacies near the front of the Park, so try skipping the first cocoa stand as it will most likely be the busiest. The Golden Horseshoe is said to be a nice place to get your cookies and cocoa because the

lines are shorter there. It’s the building hosting the Holiday Hootenanny, which is one of two Character Dance Parties at Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party.
You can get the most out of Mickey’s Once Upon A Christmas Parade by getting a spot on Main Street. The best views come from sitting across from Cinderella’s Castle. We love it because every festive picture taken will have the Castle featured in the background. Priceless.

Everyone wants to have a great spot for the Holiday Wishes fireworks show, but in this case, the best views are actually farther away. If you’re too close to the Castle, you won’t get the grand effect. So grab your family and snag a spot for the best views of cheery wonderment.

Of course, our best advice in enjoying this Magic Kingdom event is to book your stay with us. We offer all of the fun and value of staying near the Park, with transportation and accommodations that provide all the comforts of home!
