In honor of its 50th Anniversary, Orlando Ballet is excited to announce the World Premiere of a groundbreaking production of The Nutcracker. The team is proud to present a brand-new version of this beloved holiday classic, which will be the largest ever created by an Orlando-based performing arts organization. With captivating new choreography, dazzling costumes, breathtaking sets, and magical stage elements, this from-scratch, Broadway-caliber production promises to be an unforgettable experience. Remaining true to the traditional tale of a young girl’s love for her cherished Christmas gift from the town’s talented toymaker, this thrilling new production, set to Tchaikovsky’s timeless score, aims to establish new and lasting holiday traditions. Under the creative vision of Artistic Director, Jorden Morris, the production has been reimagined over three years with the expertise of a team of world-renowned designers. This includes Orlando Ballet’s Associate Artistic Director, Lisa Thorn Morris, award-winning Costume and Set Designer, Robert Perdziola, and Lighting Designer Joseph Walls.
